Our family run clay pigeon shoot prides itself on the personal level of service that we provide. We are aware that some people are experienced shooters and others come to us completely new; they might think it is a daunting experience -
Our father and son run team Clive and Rob Prichard are both fully trained and qualified certified shooting instructors. With over 50 years of shooting experience between us, we are always on hand to guide and advise you...and more importantly help you to enjoy the experience.
We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to be situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with the views of Monmouthshire and the Wye Valley around the farm. We feel that the location, the views, the shooting facilities and the atmosphere all work well together to give you a fantastic day out.
We provide all necessary equipment.
We welcome members and non members (non licence holders also welcome as guests) to our Sunday morning shoot; whatever the weather, there is an open shoot every other Sunday morning, between 10am and 1pm. This 50 clay sporting layout is available to all gun licence holders*. This is a more independent experience, where tuition is not provided and gives the less experienced shooter a sociable clay shoot experience, and an opportunity for the experienced to sharpen their skills.
We also arrange a league shield which is awarded to highest shooter at the end of each year.
*Gun license needs to be shown if purchasing cartridges
Whether it a birthday celebration, stag or hen party, corporate group, school reunion or a romantic afternoon with your loved one, we offer group shooting sessions, or one to one sessions;
all with private tutoring available if required.
We also create bespoke clay pigeon shoots for private groups such as corporate events and stag and hen parties, tailored to the specific abilities of the group.
Keepers Lodge Clay Shoot is based on our family run farm situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (A.O.N.B) in the Monmouthshire hills between Monmouth and Chepstow. Farming has been in our family for generations and generations; we introduced clay pigeon shooting to the farm almost 30 years ago.
Approximately 10 years ago we decided to diversify our farming life and expand the shoot into a social activity for all to enjoy. Over time, we have expanded from hosting small groups of family, friends and neighbours to being a well established (and one of the biggest) shooting grounds in South East Wales and the Borders.
We offer one to one tuition
Group bookings
Parties for all occasions
and a fortnightly Sunday open shoot where everyone is welcome.
We are open for shooting 7 days a week!
